In the latest development update from Telehouse Europe, Julian Hennessy, the director of development and construction projects, discussed the extensive refurbishment of Tell House South. This facility, part of the Dockland campus in London, UK, and formerly occupied by Thomson Reuters, is being transformed into a state-of-the-art data center.

The data center refurbishment focuses on sustainability, leveraging renewable energy and enhancing building efficiency. Key improvements would include an upgrade from a 15 MW to a 30 MW facility, with significant enhancements in IT power capacity and energy efficiency. The project emphasizes environmental benefits and community consideration, aiming to double the building’s power capacity while maintaining a minimal environmental footprint.
