Nicole Robinson has been named President of DataPath by Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: GILT, TASE: GILT), a global pioneer in satellite networking technology, solutions, and services. The announcement was made today.

Ms. Robinson is a leader in the international satellite sector with a track record of fostering growth, leading worldwide sales and operational teams, and implementing cutting-edge technology for the good of enterprises, communities, and government and defense agencies everywhere. She had important positions in General Dynamics, Ursa Space Systems, SES, and Comtech Telecommunications.

“We are thrilled to have Nicole Robinson join our team as President of DataPath,” Gilat CEO Adi Sfadia stated. “We are convinced that DataPath will strengthen its portfolio of quality solutions for the quickly changing satellite communication market under her outstanding leadership, complementing Gilat’s agenda in the international military industry. After serving as DataPath’s president for a while, David McDonald will step down and become the vice chairman of the board of directors. Ms. Robinson has an MBA from Liberty University and was a successful graduate of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government’s Senior Executives in National and International Security program. These accomplishments demonstrate her commitment to and proficiency in the security industry.

In November 2023, Gilat bought DataPath, a leader in the trusted communications space for the government, military, and Department of Defense (DoD) in the United States, with the goal of expanding its footprint in the expanding defense market.
