Quantum Computing Center Launched in Israel to Spearhead Innovation

Quantum Machines (QM), provider of processor-based quantum controllers, has inaugurated the Israeli Quantum Computing Center (IQCC), marking a significant advancement in Israel’s burgeoningquantum computing landscape. The grand opening of the IQCC took place on June 24th amidst Tel Aviv University’s AI and Cyber Week, a fitting backdrop for the unveiling of this state-of-the-art facility. The event commenced with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, attended by distinguished figures including Asaf Zamir, First Deputy Mayor of Tel Aviv; Dror Bin, CEO of the Israel Innovation Authority; and leading academics such as Prof. Yaron Oz and Prof. Itzik Ben Israel from Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Itamar Sivan, CEO ofQuantum Machines, also took center stage alongside industry luminaries like Eyal Waldman, Ofir Zamir, and Niv Efron, who collectively underscored the center’s potential impact on the global quantum computing landscape.

In his address, Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai highlighted the IQCC as a pivotal development propelling Tel Aviv into the forefront of global tech hubs.
